Events on antimicrobial resistance in Asia

Welcome !

The main purpose of this "AMR Events in Asia" EU-funded project featuring a high-level Conference in Thailand and three interactive Workshops in India, Japan and China, is to promote EU policies on antimicrobial resistance as part of the wider EU approach on the matter, particularly the ‘One Health’ approach to tackle AMR in human health, animal health and the environment. Interactions with selected panelists and a wider audience online will allow to exchange views, discuss measures and research activities that countries can undertake nationally, regionally and internationally.

Due to the covid-19 situation and the government regulations in place, these events are planned to happen online or in a hybrid form, when possible. The communication agency C&M has been appointed to organise the logistics of this AMR Conference, on behalf of the European Commission DG SANTE and FPI Unit, in collaboration with the EU Delegation in Thailand.
